A draw settles Ecuador and Brazil match

Ecuador and Brazil match ended in a 1-1 draw on Friday in the 15th round of South American qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.

Real Madrid’s Casemiro opened the scoring for the Brazilian side in the sixth minute and Felix Torres equalised with a powerful header in the 75th minute. At the end of the clash, Colombian referee Wilmar Roldan announced a penalty for the home side, giving a red card to goalkeeper Allison after receiving the second yellow card, but the VAR intervened to cancel it all out and maintain the result of the 1-1 draw.

In a funny incident in this match, Brazilian goalkeeper Allison got a red card in the first half and then the referee canceled it, and in the second half gave the Liverpool goalkeeper another red card but the VAR also intervened to save Allison. The Brazilian team, which qualified for the World Cup, is at the top of the standings with 36 points from 14 games and without being defeated, in return, the Ecuadorian team is close to winning a qualifying spot for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ finishing third with 24 points (15 games).
