Udinese did a favor to Inter Milan and Napoli with a 1-1 draw with Ac Milan on Saturday in the 17th week of Serie A.
Udinese were early to score through Portuguese striker Beto with a shot from close range in the 17th minute, but the giant veteran Swedish international Zlatan Ibrahimovic equalised for Milan in the second minute of stoppage time with a shot from inside the area.
Milan needed a win to retain the lead but fell into the trap of a draw for the third time this season, raising their tally to 39 points in second place behind their neighbors Inter (37 points) who defeated Cagliari 4-0 on Sunday.
Positive draw between Venezia and Juventus
Venezia’s match against Juventus ended in a 1-1 draw. Juventus suffered a heavy blow at the start of the match with the injury of their star and Argentine international playmaker Paulo Dybala in the 12th minute and left his place to Brazilian promising 19-year-old Kaio Jorges. Dybala’s injury, which suffered a calf injury in mid-November, did not prevent Juventus from opening the scoring with Spanish international striker Alvaro Morata with a shot from close range following a cross by Luca Pellegrini.
The home team pressed hard early in the second half and managed to equalise when Mattia Aramu received a ball outside the area from defender Ridgeciano Haps, who hit it hard with his left inside the goal (55). Juventus tried to remedy the situation but collided with a strong goalkeeper, Argentine Sergio Romero, who starred in this match.
