Aurelien Tchouameni, a French defensive midfielder who played for AS Monaco, has been signed by Real Madrid. Next Tuesday, Tchouameni will be introduced as a Real Madrid player and will also talk to the media. Reports say that Madrid paid €80 million to get the midfielder, but the whole deal could be worth €100 million if bonuses are included.
Tchouameni is the second player Real Madrid has brought in this summer. Antonio Rudiger, who joined the team as a free agent, was the first.
The Frenchman is a great player who is expected to replace Casemiro in the long run. But he’s also good enough to make an impact as soon as next season, so coach Carlo Ancelotti will have to choose between Casemiro and Aurelien Tchouameni, who he just signed.
Tchouameni is only 22 years old, but he just finished a great season for Monaco. He has also become one of the most important players on the French national team.
