Barcelona confirmed their dominance over Valencia for the third consecutive game in the LaLiga after a match that saw the brilliance of Gabonese newcomer Aubameyang.
Barcelona beat Valencia 4-1 on Sunday in the 25th stage of the Spanish La Liga competition.
Gabonese Aubameyang established himself as a star of the match with a hattrick, which began with his first goal for the Catalan team (23), taking advantage of Jordi Alba’s pass. Dutchman Frenkie de Jong added the second goal (32) before Aubameyang returned to confirm his team’s superiority and add the second goal and the third for his team (38).
Carlos Soler surprised the guests with an early goal in the first minutes of the second half to keep his side in the atmosphere (52), before Aubameyang, with the help of substitute Pedri with a powerful shot hitting the striker, added the fourth goal and his hattrick (63).
Barcelona played with great balance the rest of the time to return to the track of victories after a draw with Espanyol in the last stage to raise the tally to 42 points evenly with Atletico Madrid fourth but with a game less for the Blaugrana.
On the other hand, Valencia’s balance froze at 30 points in twelfth place, continuing its negative results, as they havenot achieved any victory in the league this year.
