Bayern sweep Stuttgart with a clean 5

Bayern Munich, seeking their 10th consecutive Bundesliga title, clinched the autumn title honors before their last match of 2021, with hosts Stuttgart winning 5-0 thanks to a hattrick by Serge Gnabry and a double by the Polish Robert Lewandowski on Tuesday in the 16th stage.

And by chance, the giants will be crowned champions of the autumn twice in one year, because the first half of last season extended beyond the traditional winter break in Germany. Coach Julian Nagelsmann increased his tally to 40 points and moved away in the lead temporarily by a margin of 9 points from his rivals Borussia Dortmund, who host on Wednesday Greuther Furth, allowing him to finish the first half of the season in the lead before his last match of the year against Wolfsburg on Friday.

The Bavarian club hopes that history will be in his favor after winning the autumn title for the 25th time in its history, as they were crowned champions of the league in 21 of the previous 24 seasons in which it finished the year leading.

No one seems to be able this season to stand up against Bayern’s march despite the technical change that has taken place with the departure of Hansi Flick, to coach the national team, and the appointment of Nagelsmann.
