AC Milan, the winner of Serie A, is said to be interested in Hakim Ziyech, and Chelsea is also said to be open to the idea. But where we disagree is in the details, which is unfortunately where the devil usually lives as well.
Milan would rather have a loan with an option to buy it out after a year. Sky Italia (through Sempre Milan) says that Chelsea, on the other hand, would rather that option not be an option at all but a requirement. In other words, we would want a permanent transfer for Ziyech, either this summer or next.
The Rossoneri are also said to be interested in Real Madrid’s Marco Asensio, who is three years younger than Ziyech. It is clear that our version is harder and less appealing for them. Asensio might be available for €30m, according to Gazzetta Dello Sport (via Football Italia). Milan could spend that much, but most likely not on Ziyech.
