Copa del Rey: Barcelona and Real Madrid to the round of 16

Barcelona and Real Madrid qualified for the round of 16 of the Spanish Cup on Wednesday night.

Barcelona qualified following their victory over hosts Linares Deportivo (third division) in a match that saw the participation of Barcelona’s historic Brazilian full-back Dani Alves after his return. Linares scored first by Hugo Diaz in the 19th minute, before Barcelona equalized by Ousmane Dembele in the 63rd minute, and in the 69th minute, Ferran Jutgla scored the team’s second goal. Real Mallorca beat Eibar 2-1, Real Sociedad beat Leganes 3-2, Valencia beat Cartagena 2-1, Real Betis beat Valladolid 3-0, Rayo Vallecano beat Mirandes 1-0, while Atletico Baleares took out Celta Vigo 2-1. evening.
