David De Gea named Premier League Player of the month

Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea won the Premier League Player of the Month award .

The award is the first of its kind for a goalkeeper since 2016 when Southampton goalkeeper Fraser Forster won it. De Gea made twenty-two saves in four games in January, five saves against Wolverhampton, which they lost by a goal, seven saves against Aston Villa, which ended in a draw with two goals to each, eight saves in Brentford, which the Red Devils won by three goals to one, and two saves in West Ham, which German coach Ralf Rangnick’s men won with a clean goal.
