Everton forces Chelsea to draw

Everton forced a draw against hosts Chelsea (1-1) on Thursday in the 17th round of the English Premier League amid widespread chaos and the postponement of many matches due to the spread of the CORONA virus among English clubs.

German Thomas Tuchel’s team continued to waste points, winning only once in their last four matches in various competitions with a 3-2 against Leeds in the previous stage on Saturday. Chelsea is 37 points in third place, while Everton have increased their tally to 19 points in 14th place. Mason Mount opened the scoring for the Blues in the 70th minute before Jarrad Branthwaite equalized for Everton in the 74th minute of the match at Stamford Bridge in London.
