Frank Lampard appointed as new head coach at Everton

Everton announced the agreement with Frank Lampard to coach the first team on a two-and-a-half-year contract until June 2024.

The club stated that Lampard will take charge of the team’s match in the FA Cup’s fourth-round match against Brentford at Goodison Park on Saturday 5 February.

Everton sacked Rafa Benitez in the middle of this month following the team’s poor results and temporarily awarded the job to Scotland’s Duncan Ferguson.

Lampard will return to training for the first time since Chelsea sacked him on 25 January 2021.
