Future role expected for Aguero with the Argentina national team

Former Argentina striker Sergio Aguero said he could play a role for the “Tango” team at the World Cup in Qatar after meeting with Argentine FA president Claudio Tapia.

Aguero, who announced his retirement last December due to heart problems, is discussing with the Argentine federation the final details of the deal, to be announced in the coming weeks.

The former Manchester City and Barcelona star did not reveal the nature of this role with his country but confirmed that he will be part of the supporting team at the World Cup in Qatar, also hoping to attend the draw of the World Cup in April.
