Inter announced on Thursday the signing of German Robin Gosens from Atalanta.
The defending champions and Serie A leaders announced on Thursday that German left-back Robin Gosens will join his ranks on loan with a purchase clause if certain conditions are met.”Inter are pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached with Atalanta to sign Robin,” Nerazzurri said on his official social media pages after Gosens underwent a medical examination on Thursday.
The statement did not specify the value of the deal or the duration of the transfer, but local newspaper “La Gazzetta Dello Sport” reported that it had reached around 25 million euros (22 million-plus 3 million bonuses) and that Gossens would remain with Inter for four and a half years (until June 2026) for an estimated annual salary of €2.5 million. The German international (13 matches) is expected to return to the field within a month to join his new team, after suffering a hamstring injury since last October.
The 27-year-old is a possible replacement for Croatian left winger Ivan Perišić or his successor if the 33-year-old decides to leave at the end of the season, with his contract expiring in June without being renewed.
