Inter have emerged as serious favorites to recruit Juventus star, Paulo Dybala, according to 90min.
However, rumors that Dybala had ‘accepted’ to join I Nerrazzurri on Tuesday evening was dismissed by the player’s representative, who stated: “The player is totally focused on the finish of the season, the league, and the Coppa Italia final.” At this point, no agreement has been struck with any team in Italy or overseas.”
90min understands that, despite the fact that a deal has not yet been completed, Inter are currently the undisputed frontrunners in the battle to sign the Argentine. Inter are working very hard to complete a deal for Dybala, and the player is thought to be pleased by the club’s efforts.
The Argentine attacker is expected to depart Juventus as a free agent this summer after failing to reach an agreement on a new contract.
Dybala had been in negotiations with Juventus about a contract extension and had even agreed on a new five-year deal for €8 million per year before Christmas. However, discussions broke down as Juve changed the parameters at the last minute owing to the forward’s poor injury record.
As previously reported, Dybala’s agents recently spoke with Inter, who regard the attacker as an ideal alternative for Lautaro Martinez.
Lautaro, according to 90min, is more likely to depart the club, and Inter have started to prepare for the possibility that he would be sold. Atletico Madrid, Arsenal, and Tottenham are all interested in the Inter attacker, who conducted conversations with his representatives last year and have kept in touch since. The youngster would love to play in England, although he is open to joining La Liga.
