Juventus and Lazio to the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia

Juventus reached the quarter-finals of the Italian Cup with a 4-1 victory over Sampdoria on Tuesday, while Lazio hit a 1-0 win over Udinese after extending the match to extra time with a goal from substitute leader Ciro Immobile.

Juventus continued their good start to the year after a draw and two league victories, most recently against Udinese on Saturday, to stay close to the Champions League positions. Coach Massimiliano Allegri’s team scored 4 goals signed by Juan Cuadrado (25), Daniele Rugani (52), Argentine substitute Paulo Dybala (67), and Spaniard Alvaro Morata (77 pk), while Andrea Conte scored the only goal for Sampdoria (63).

Lazio needed an extension to overcome Udinese with a 1-0 win scored by Immobile. The striker succeeded in scoring the only goal in the meeting after receiving a wonderful ball behind the defenders from the other substitute Danilo Cataldi, followed by a “Lob” above Goalkeeper Marco Silvestri (106).

Lazio hit a clash with Milan in the quarter-finals after they excelled last Thursday against Genoa, Atalanta meet Fiorentina in another match after they also qualified last week.
