Moise Kean’s late goal gave Juventus a 2-1 victory against Sassuolo in Serie A on Monday and strengthened their grip on the last qualifying slot for the Champions League.
Juve moved up to fourth position in the Serie A table with 66 points from 34 games, one point behind Napoli and eight ahead of AS Roma. Sassuolo remains in 10th place.
Giacomo Raspadori’s strike in the 38th minute gave Sassuolo the lead, which they rightly held on to for the rest of the first half.
A goal from Argentine striker Paulo Dybala just before halftime gave the visitors a slender advantage.
Andrea Consigli stopped a header from Alvaro Morata early in the second half, but the goalkeeper allowed one slip between his legs as Kean turned neatly and scored the winner with two minutes remaining.
