Leicester City climbs to the fourth round of the FA Cup alongside Crystal Palace.

Leicester City advanced to the fourth round of the FA Cup following a sweeping 4-1 win over Watford on Saturday in the third round of the tournament.

Leicester’s Youri Tielemans scored in the seventh minute from a penalty kick, James Madison in the 25th minute, Harvey Barnes in the 54th minute, and Marc Albrighton in the 85th minute, while Joao Pedro scored Watford’s only goal in the 27th minute.

Brentford swept Port Vale 4-1, while Burnley bid farewell to the competition by losing 1-2 to Huddersfield.

Crystal Palace reached the same round of the FA Cup with a 2-1 win over Millwall. Benick Afobe with a goal for Millwall gave his team the advantage in the 17th minute, Michael Olise equalized for Crystal Palace a minute after the break, before his teammate Jean-Philippe Mateta snatched the second goal at the 58th minute, securing his team’s victory and crossing it into the next round.

In the same round, Cambridge United achieved a huge surprise by eliminating Newcastle from the third round after a 1-0 victory. England international Kieran Trippier made his debut for Newcastle after joining him from Atletico Madrid in the winter transfer window. Joe Ironside scored the game’s only goal 11 minutes after the second half’s kick-off following a close-range shot.
