Liverpool achieve a critical win

Liverpool snatched a precious win from Leicester City in a match that Egyptian star Mohamed Salah participated in.

Liverpool beat Leicester City 2-0 on Thursday in the 24th stage of the English Premier League competition.

Portugal’s Diogo Jota led his team to a double with Salah on the bench before being involved 30 minutes before the end of the game after returning from his participation in the African Cup of Nations, during which he achieved second place with Egypt.

Jota scored the first goal (34) before signing on the second minutes before the end of the game, taking advantage of a pass from Cameroonian Matip (87).

Liverpool missed Senegalese winger Sadio Mane on extra leave after winning the Africa Cup of nations with Senegal.

Salah performed well within minutes and was close to scoring on more than one occasion.

Liverpool increased their tally to 51 points in second place, 9 points behind leaders Manchester City with a game less, while Leicester stood at 26 points in twelfth place.
