Liverpool hit hard again and beat Southampton by four

Liverpool continued their strong performances by beating Southampton by four clean goals, on Saturday in the 13th stage of the English Premier League.

The game came from one side, where Liverpool players dominated from the start and very quickly Diego Jota scored the first goal in the second minute and then returned and added the second goal for him and the Reds in the 32nd minute, and before the end of the first half, Thiago Alcantara managed to score the third goal in the 37th minute.

In the 52nd minute, Liverpool’s center-back Virgil van Dijk scored the fourth goal. This is the second time in a row that Liverpool has won four goals and a clean sheet, with the last stage beating Arsenal by the same result.

Liverpool increased their tally to 28 points and jumped to second place temporarily by a margin of two points ahead of Manchester City, who are awaiting a tough showdown against West Ham on Sunday. Southampton are temporarily frozen in 14th place with 14 points.
