Divock Origi is set to be in Italy next week for a physical and the signing of his new contract with AC Milan.
The 27-year-old Liverpool striker has been under contract with the Italian champions since March and has turned down offers from clubs such as Villarreal.
Milan are set to offer Zlatan Ibrahimovic a new contract in October, although he will be sidelined for eight months after surgery to fix his left knee.
Origi might make his farewell appearance for Liverpool in Saturday’s Champions League final against Real Madrid.
The 27-year-old has only made seven Premier League appearances this season and will be hoping to play a bigger role for Milan.
Origi, whose contract expires at the end of June, has scored some crucial goals since joining Liverpool in 2014.
He has won the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, Club World Cup, and UEFA Super Cup during his stint with the club.
