Liverpool win over Brighton as Salah continues to shine

Liverpool secured a 2-0 win over Brighton on Saturday in round 29 of the English Premier League.

Colombian Luis Diaz (19) and Egyptian international Mohamed Salah (61) both scored for Liverpool.

Following Jurgen Klopp’s team’s successful second-half penalty, Salah participated in 11 goals in 10 Premier League games against Brighton (6 goals and 5 assists).

The Egyptian star is the top scorer in the English league with 20 goals. Liverpool are in the lead with 66 points.

Brentford continue their awakening

In the second match, Brentford continued their awakening and secured their second successive victory when they deepened the wounds of their host Burnley with a precious 2-0 win.

Brentford waited for the 85th minute to open the scoring through Ivan Toney following a pass from Danish international Christian Eriksen, before scoring a penalty in the third minute of stoppage time.

Brentford consolidated their position in 15th place with 30 points, seven points behind Burnley 18 with two games postponed.
