Man Utd ‘agree deal’ for Feyenoord defender Tyrell Malacia

Manchester United and Feyenoord have reached a deal for left-back Tyrell Malacia.

The Athletic says that the two clubs have agreed on a fee of €18 million for the 22-year-old player.

Lyon was reportedly close to making a deal for the defender before United snuck in at the last minute to move ahead.

Malacia played 50 times for Feyenoord last season as they made it to the final of the Europa League. This led to his first international game for the Netherlands in September.

He has now played for his country four more times.
