Manchester City reach FA Cup quarter-finals

Manchester City advanced to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup after Tuesday night’s 2-0 win over Peterborough United in the fifth round of the tournament.

Peterborough United, who compete in the first division, made a strong first half that ended in a goalless draw and the tie lasted until the 60th minute when the Algerian international Riyad Mahrez managed to score the first goal for Manchester City before Jack Grealish added the second goal in the 67th minute.

In the fifth round, Crystal Palace also advanced to the quarter-finals after beating Stoke City by two goals.
