Manchester City strengthen their lead with a big win over Leicester City

Manchester City beat Leicester City 6-3 on Sunday in round 19 of the English Premier League.

And no one seems to be able to fight coach Pep Guardiola’s team who achieved his ninth consecutive victory in the Premier League. With a triumphant victory after Christmas, known as Boxing Day in England, City moved away in the lead by a margin of six points from Liverpool, whose match with Leeds United was postponed due to an outbreak of coronavirus, similar to Everton and Watford, whose matches with Burnley and Wolverhampton were also postponed.

Belgium’s Kevin de Bruyne (5), Algeria’s Riyad Mahrez (14 penalty kick), Germany’s Ilkay Gundogan (21), Raheem Sterling (25 penalty kick+87) and Spain’s Aymeric Laporte (69) scored for Pep Guardiola, while James Maddison (55), Ademola Lookman (59) and Nigeria’s Kelechi Iheanacho (65) scored the guest goals.
