Marseille successfully bypasses Angers hurdle

Marseille temporarily regained their second place by beating hosts Angers 5-2, including a hat-trick for Polish international striker Arkadiusz Milik on Friday in the 23rd stage of the French Ligue 1.

Angelo Fulgini (7) and Algerian Nabil Bentaleb (10) scored for Angers.

Poland’s Arkadiusz Milik (17, 69, and 77), Brazil’s Gerson (20), and Turkey’s Cengiz Under (84) took turns scoring the winner.

Marseille temporarily regained second place from Nice (42 points), raising its tally to 43 points.

Angers, on the other hand, froze at 29 points in 12th place.
