Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane talked to each other on Instagram after it was confirmed that the Senegalese player would leave Liverpool on Wednesday to join Bayern Munich.

The 30-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the Bundesliga giants for a fee that could reach £35 million with add-ons.

Mane To Salah:

‘Keep doing your things!! Brother you are the best ♥️👊’

Mane moved to Liverpool from Southampton in 2016, and Salah moved from Roma in Serie A the following year.

No one could have guessed what would happen when these two players joined forces with Roberto Firmino to form the most feared front three in football.

Soon after, the three players helped Liverpool win the Champions League in 2019 and the Premier League the following year, giving them their first league title in 30 years.

Liverpool’s success and trophies did not end there. This season, they won two domestic cups and came very close to a quadruple, which had never been done before.

Salah thanked his teammate and friend on Instagram and wished him the best. Mane replied that Salah is “the best” and thanked him again.
