Nice ends Versailles adventure and reaches Coupe De France final

Nice reached the final of the French Cup by beating Versailles with two clean goals in the match that brought both sides together on Tuesday at the Allianz Riviera Stadium in Nice.

Amine Gouiri scored the first goal in the 48th minute before Kaspar Dolberg added the second in the 73rd minute following a superb solo effort from Gouiri.

Nice, who reached the final of the French Cup for the first time since 1997, will face the winner of the match between Monaco and Nantes on Wednesday.

Versailles, competing in the fourth division (French National League II), reached the semi-finals by beating Bergerac on penalties after the end of the original 1-1 draw, while Nice qualified with a crushing victory over Marseille 4-1.
