Paris Saint-Germain beat Bordeaux (3-0) on Sunday in the 28th week of the French Ligue 1.
The Parisian team’s triple was scored by Kylian Mbappe (24), Brazilian Neymar (52), and Argentine Leandro Paredes (61).
Saint-Germain raised their tally to 65 points, flying at the top of the standings, while Bordeaux’s position in last place worsened by 22 points.
Mbappe raised his tally to 15 goals, topping the scoring table equally with Monaco star Wissam Ben Yedder.
When the starting lineups were unveiled in Paris, Messi and Neymar’s names were booed.
Once the game began, the whistles persisted, and a few of purportedly match-changing talents found themselves in control of the ball.
Both were targeted as a result of PSG’s most recent Champions League loss, which occurred in the last-16 round against Real Madrid of La Liga.
Mauricio Pochettino’s team led by two goals on aggregate at one point, but were sent packing after Karim Benzema scored a quick-fire hat-trick at Santiago Bernabeu.
Neither Messi nor Neymar have been able to make a significant impact on Spanish territory — against old Barcelona rivals – and are regarded as providing little return on faith and dollars invested in them.
