Real Madrid lead group with victory over Inter

Real Madrid finished their group stage with Inter Milan at the top of Group D in their favor with a 2-0 victory over their Italian rivals, who completed nearly the last half hour with 10 players in Spain, in the final of the group stages of the Champions League on Tuesday.

As Inter entered the showdown after a 3-0 win over Roma in the capital, it was the fourth successively in Serie A, becoming a point away from their leading rival Milan.
