Real Madrid takes control of Sevilla and secure their lead

Real Madrid confirmed their lead in La Liga, going through a wonderful period on the technical level, and turned his delay in front of the guest Sevilla with a goal to achieve a precious 2-1 win over Sunday in the 15th round of la Liga.

The match came very strong between the two teams, especially from the Andalusians, who started the meeting attacking and advanced with a perfect header by striker Rafa Mir in the 12th minute.

The guests did not lead for long as the Real Madrid striker and the star of the French National team Karim Benzema equalised in the 32nd minute after he followed up with a ball that was countered by Sevilla’s Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou and then hit the post and arrived to Benzema, who deposited it confidently and calmly into the net.

The draw remained dominant in the enthusiastic meeting until Brazilian Vinicius Junior managed to score the most beautiful goal of the meeting in a dazzling technical shot, after he controlled the ball on the left side and then penetrated into the Sevilla defense and fired a superb shot hugging Bounou’s net, announcing Real Madrid’s second goal in the 87th minute.

This is the ninth goal for Vinicius Junior in La Liga this season after scoring eight goals in his previous three seasons in the competition and with this victory Real Madrid retained the lead after raising their tally to 33 points by a margin of 4 points against Atletico Madrid, the title holder and currently second place, while Sevilla’s balance froze at 28 points in the fourth place, knowing that the team coached by the former Real Madrid coach Julen Lopetegui would have taken the lead if he had won this meeting in the 15th stage.
