Christian Eriksen, a free agent midfielder, has signed a three-year contract with Manchester United.
The 30-year-old player spent the second half of the season with Brentford, scoring one goal in 11 outings. He was instrumental in Brentford finishing 13th in the Premier League, but he declined the club’s offer to remain.

Eriksen formerly played for Inter Milan in the Italian Serie A, but the club canceled his contract in December 2021 after he had a heart attack during a European Championship match for his home Denmark.
United has also signed 22-year-old left-back Tyrell Malacia from Feyenoord in the previous week. Malacia has allegedly completed his medical test, but the club is waiting to announce the two new signings at the same time.
