United was looking at a number of strikers, including Richarlison and Darwin Nunez, who have since signed with Tottenham and Liverpool, respectively.

Their Premier League rivals Arsenal were also interested in Richarlison, but they chose to sign Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City instead.

The Brazilian striker is going to join Spurs for about £50 million, as Antonio Conte tries to give his team more offensive power.

Spurs have already been very busy in the transfer window, adding a number of key players to their team.

In a Tweet, Fabrizio Romano said, “Here we go” about Richarlison’s move.

“Richarlison has signed a permanent deal with Tottenham. Here we go! The first part of the paperwork has been signed with Everton, and all of the personal terms have been agreed upon.

Richarlison is on his way to Brazil for medical tests, so the deal is done. The fee will be £50 million guaranteed plus extras.”
