Ten Hag claims that Cristiano is a part of his preparations for the new season

Erik ten Hag seems to have disclosed Manchester United’s favored formation ahead of their friendly against Liverpool in Bangkok.

Man United’s team returned to training two weeks ago in preparation for the 2022/23 season. Ten Hag, the former Ajax manager, is now in charge.

The club’s players and staff traveled to Bangkok last week in preparation for their friendly against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool on Tuesday evening.

United practiced on Monday in preparation for their match against Liverpool. According to the Telegraph, Manchester United ‘lined up in a 4-3-3’ configuration during the training session.

According to the source, Diogo Dalot, Victor Lindelof, Eric Bailly, and Luke Shaw would form a back four.

With Bruno Fernandes and Donny van de Beek on each side of the Brazilian, Fred was in holding midfield.

Anthony Martial started in the center, with Marcus Rashford (left) and Jadon Sancho (right) on the wings.

Martial and Van de Beek both had loan stints at Sevilla and Everton at the conclusion of the 2021/22 season. Meanwhile, Bailly only appeared four times in the Premier League last season.

According to the article, Harry Maguire trained on his own due to a “small injury.” Raphael Varane ‘didn’t train at all,’ therefore both will be out from the game against Liverpool.

In other news, Ten Hag has reiterated that Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo is “not for sale,” despite suggestions that the striker wants to depart Old Trafford this summer.

According to the latest rumors, Ronaldo has been left unimpressed by United’s activity in the summer window as he prepares to participate in the Champions League again next season.

Ten Hag, on the other hand, says that Ronaldo is “not for sale” and that the Portugal star has not informed him that he wants to leave Old Trafford.

“So he’s not with us,” Ten Hag said during a news conference on Monday. This is due to personal reasons.

“We’re making plans with Ronaldo for this season – that’s all.” I’m excited to collaborate with him.”
