Top free players that can transfer when the Mercato begins

Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham might sign a number of outstanding European players whose contracts expire this summer.

Paulo Dybala and AC Milan defender Alessio Romagnoli have both been linked with a move to the Premier League in the summer transfer window. If Manchester United’s contract with Paul Pogba isn’t renewed before next summer, another Premier League team might sign the World Cup champion.

Among the high-profile players whose contracts expire this summer, Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger are likely candidates for a move to Real Madrid. Chelsea will also lose Andreas Christensen on a free transfer this summer after the Danish defender withdrew from the FA Cup final team on Saturday because of personal reasons.

This summer, Arsenal will be without the services of Alexis Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah when their contracts expire. He might lose up to four defenders before next season, therefore Todd Boehly’s £4.25billion acquisition of the club will need a large amount of support from Tuchel.

For the 2022/23 season, Antonio Conte has expressed his dissatisfaction with Tottenham’s January transfer deals and has said that his team will need to strengthen even more this summer. There are a number of players out of contract this summer whom Chelsea, Arsenal, and Tottenham might be interested in acquiring ahead of the next season.
