Tottenham came back from far and achieved a thrilling 3-2 win over Leicester City on Wednesday in a postponed match from the 17th stage of the English Premier League.
The match at Leicester’s King Power Stadium saw extreme excitement as Leicester opened the scoring by Patson Daka in the 24th minute before Harry Kane equalized for Tottenham in the 38th minute, and James Maddison restored Leicester’s lead in the 76th minute. In the last moments of the meeting, Dutch striker Steven Bergwijn hit hard and scored twice for Spurs in the two minutes (90+5) and (90+7) to give his team three precious points that increased his tally to 36 points in fifth place while Leicester’s balance froze at 25 points in 10th place.
Man Utd come back with a 3-1 victory
In a postponed match from the 17th stage, Manchester United beat hosts Brentford 3-1. The goals came in the second half and Anthony Elanga scored United’s first goal in the 55th minute and Mason Greenwood added the second goal in the 62nd minute and Marcus Rashford closed the triplet with the third goal in the 77th minute. In the 85th minute, Ivan Toney scored Brentford’s only goal.
Manchester United increased their tally to 35 points in seventh place while Brentford were frozen at 23 points in 14th place.
